The EPIZONE annual meeting started yesterday in a warm and sunny Bern with more than 200 participants. A very successful meeting for Young EPIZONE members kicked of the meeting, followed by an afternoon with interesting keynote lectures, a poster slam and oral presentations in 2 parallel sessions.
We thanked the former EPIZONE coordinator Wim van der Poel for his dedication to EPIZONE.

The first day ended with a welcome reception with delicious foods and drinks, sponsored by "Cheeses from Switzerland".
