There's too much to tell about the 18th EPIZONE meeting — you really have to experience the network yourself. We'll announce the 2027 meeting soon!

This week we gathered at the Haus des Sports in Bern to share our research and knowledge on epizootic and zoonotic diseases.

The programme featured 1-minute poster slams, keynotes on One Health, current disease challenges, preparedness, and Artificial Intelligence — plus plenty of time to meet, exchange ideas, start new collaborations, and network.

We also joined forces around the recent Shamonda-like virus outbreak, and will share our findings with the network and on this website soon.

Networking is at the heart of EPIZONE, which is why we invest in YOUNG EPIZONE (YE). The YE members put together a fantastic programme, including a career reality check and a social media workshop hosted by Mattia Bütikofer.

Altogether, a great networking meeting in the beautiful city of Bern, Switzerland — organised by the Institute of Virology and Immunology (IVI) in Mittelhäusern.
