The Young EPIZONE meeting
The Young EPIZONE meeting is part of the 8th Annual Meeting.
The meeting will take place 23 September 2014 at DTU Vet, in the centre of Copenhagen.
In this YE meeting Journalist Søren Schultz Jørgensen will facilitate a communication workshop for the young EPIZONE scientists.The goal of this workshop is to learn the young EPIZONE scientists to communicate their science and projects to a broader audience including the media.
After a short presentation the workshop will continue with different group assignments, in which the young scientists can be active and benefit from networking. The specific programme will be planned in collaboration with Søren.
Søren Schultz Jørgensen is the main teacher at a very popular ‘communication school’ for PhD students in Denmark. He teaches the students to communicate to the media while balancing between simplification and scientific accuracy.
