We are close to coming to the 6th annual meeting of the EPIZONE ERG. The 11th annual meeting of EPIZONE overall!

This time in de beautiful city of Paris. Over the last 10 months our host ANSES has been very active in organising the meeting in the venue Cité des sciences et de l’industrie, and I am sure it will be a very good meeting this time also. We are really looking forward to meet all EPIZONE partners again and I have no doubt you will have a good time in Paris and do a lot of fruitful networking to improve and exchange knowledge on epizootic disease control. At the moment 50 participants for the Young EPIZONE meeting and 219 participants for the 11th EPIZONE annual meeting are registered!

International Research Consortium for Animal Health

Several key researchers from EPIZONE partners have become member of the scientific board of the IRC Animal Health. The IRC Animal Health builds on the success of the EU-funded STAR-IDAZ Project (Global Strategic Alliances for the Coordination of Research on the Major Infectious Diseases of Animals and Zoonoses) and aims to deliver measurable advances in the control of animal diseases through the alignment of both public and privately funded animal health research programmes around the world. Supported by leading researchers of EPIZONE partners, the EPIZONE coordinator has been appointed to chair the scientific committee of the IRC Animal Health. Herewith a close collaboration between the IRC and Epizone will be guaranteed.
